Name: SaRheia Cuylain (pronounced sah-RAY-ah KAI-layn)
Gender: Female
Race: Half-Elf
Age: 17
Hair: Appears black, looks very deep reddish-brown in direct sunlight
Eyes: Pale, minty-green
Physical Description: Her body is whip-like, thin and strong, reflecting a childhood filled with meals that were meager at best and nonexistent more often than not. She stands at 5'7", hinting that proper nutrition during her growing years might have left her very tall indeed. Her hair reaches the bases of her shoulder blades, and she wears two small braids in front of each ear, with the rest occasionally pulled back as well, generally when she needs it kept out of her eyes when she's "working". She keeps mainly to men's clothes, and the darker colors the better to help her go unnoticed. She bears a tattoo across her throat of black runes that mark her as a member of the Donovans, so she usually wears a scarf or long-necked tunic to hide it.
Personality: She is quiet and seems to carry a heavy burden of sadness about her. She's says little until she has something of import to say. She is fiercely loyal to those she cares for and is willing to die for any cause she deems worth fighting for.
Occupation: Thief/Assassin
Other information: SaRheia was born in squalor to a human mother who, under no amount of prodding on Rheia's part, would tell her anything about her father. Mother and daughter didn't really live--they survived, simply existed, and some days barely that. Life was hard on the streets of Laosn--with no family and no reputable skills to speak of, they depended on the charity of others and the occasional odd job her mother could find. When Rheia was nine, her mother fell ill and died. She wandered the streets and starved for days until she was found by a dark maiden who was covered with hidden steel implements. The woman took her before Whisper, the head of a secret guild of assassins and thieves for hire known as the Donovans. SaRheia became Whisper's new favorite pupil, and he became the first real father she'd ever known. He taught her to fight, to move unseen, to make her touch as light as a feather and to love the feel of cold steel against her skin and freshly spilled blood on her hands. She trained with him for seven long years before the Donovans were found out by the increased amounts of guards in Laosn, and nearly their entire guild wiped out, including Whisper. For the first time in many years, SaRheia finds herself alone, without a family, unsure of her place in the world.
She continues to try to make a living by fulfilling contracts on dirty merchants and smugglers and other undesirables, and through thievery, though she only ever stole from those who could well afford to lose it. She is proficient with most weapons, though she much prefers a bow or shortsword or throwing knives.
She currently has little more than the clothes on her back and the weapons she wore the night that the Donovans were destroyed. She was out on a mission at the time and has not dared to return to their guild hall for fear of being found out.
