Ingwe shook his head and didn't take the blade. "You would do wise to hold on to that, one blade could be the line between life and death. Just because your strength lies with two no sense in ignoring all." Again he turned his attention back to the woman, "Unlike you we came to enjoy the creatures, not to feast on them. There is no game and I am no clueless human, I understand far more than you think. I know many of your kind are very skilled with words and cunning in their use. Some even use generousity as a ploy to gain trust of humans or elves just before slaying them so forgive me if I don't trust all your advances. I brought her out here today and as such plan to protect her from any threats until I see her safely home." He turned to Cally once again, "If you desire we can take our leave of this place and go elsewhere unless you wish to return to town."

Caída looked at the elf with her leopard eyes. She threw back her head and a melodic laughter erupted from her. The sound was heavy in a very unnatural way, as if there was a great big cat rolling there in mirth. Skilled with words? Cunning? Well cunning she might be when she needed to, but she used her cunning to survive but beyond that she had no interest in such things. The description he had thrown out was so human that she could but laugh at the absurdity. The girl’s word struck home to. Perfect? Her family, her pard, had seen her as a monster and had wanted washed their hands of her already early in her life. According to them she was as far from perfect as she could be, she was a freak according to their ways. The laughter died out and silent enveloped them once more. Her eyes returned to the girl first studying her. She did not seem overly bright, but there seemed to be a kindness in her – or at least a less hostile side. “I am far from perfect according to the traditions. In fact I would not be here if anyone had regarded me as perfect. I am what I am and I do not bother to be anything else.” Slowly she turned towards the elf, her face more stern but they eyes burning with cold green flames. “I do not know what reasons you have to not listen to my word. But I have told you no lie in this glade. I offered you a piece of my kill, an honour that I grand very few. But I will not apologize to you for following the laws that nature has created. You of all should know that there is beauty in death as well as in life for dying is part of life.” She shook her head. And looked at him her face now empty and her eyes just the eyes of a leopard once more. “But I can see already that you care not for my word. You wish me not to speak truth so all I tell you is a lie to you. I hope one day you can learn to see beyond the mind of a human - for you judge as rashly and harshly as a human this very moment.”

Cally made a face. "I didn't say you were perfect, just that your shift was perfect. I've been around mages long enough to know a perfect shift when I see one." she informed her, about to tell Ingwe she was ready to leave.
"Just when it was starting to get interesting one of you have to stuff it all up." Cally spun around, recognising the voice. "ALA!" She yelled, racing over to the Norsla half breed. Alatariel smiled as she hugged Cally, having left the tree shortly before she spoke. "I must say I'm disappointed that you didn't know she was a Voskon. I've told you enough about them that you should have known right away." she said, walking over to Caída. Murmuring a few words she looked over to Ingwe and shook her head. "I must say you are keeping some interesting company my dear." She commented.

Ingwe watched the woman and shook his head. "Nay woman, I do not ask you to speak lies, I merely stated I don't trust so easy. If I were judging rashy and harshly as a human my arrow would already be sitting in your hide long before you spoke. You clearly hear what you wish to hear. You offered to share your quary, an honor that i did not say i didn't appreciate, i just stated our purpose here this day. You take words as you wish to hear them, and you accuse me of acting like humans. Keep in mind a human would not hesitate to take you for your hide and the price they could gain for it. I have only spoken my words, I have not harmed you in anyway, nor do I have any desire to. My aim is to ensure I return this lady to town in the same safe condition I took her from it. As long as no harm falls to her I care not what you do."
Ingwe looked at the newcomer but didn't seem to worried as Cally indeed seemed to know her. He only shook his head and looked as Arcamenel stomped his hoof again glancing at the newcomer.
How many more creatures are going to turn up now?
Ingwe turned and looked at Arcamenel and shook his head oncemore Easy friend Cally knows this one it seems.

A newcomer appeared in the glad and the girl, Cally was her name apparently, greeted this woman with gusto. Ala. She put that name away for the moment and smiled towards the woman. For indeed she did speak truth. Maybe at least she had encountered someone that she didn’t have to remind that life isn’t a fairytale and that she meant no harm this day. One could hope at least. The predator peeked through her eyes upon the new woman and saw a huntress. In Cally it saw very little that interested it, in the elf it saw the past reflect back at it but in this woman it could see a creature not like itself but akin at least.
She turned from Ala with a faint nod of recognition and fixed her gaze once more on Ingwë, The beast was already growing tired of him and his battling with words. She looked at him with the cool gaze of a predator and decided that enough was enough. “Had you been human and I had wished you harm you would no longer be here and only your bones would be left to be found. I care not for your opinion or thought of me, Elf, not really. I care not for what humans see me as nor care I of what your purpose here was. Today I cared about survival and survival to me means killing to feed a hungry belly. That is what I did in this glade so keep your feelings in check for I have not threatened you or the girl in any way so far and you are free to leave if you wish not for my company.” Her tone was sharp with a rumbling sound backing it up ever so often. She looked at him; nay fixed her inhuman gaze upon him. Showing him that there was very little human left in her, and that where he could still relate to humans Caída felt nothing at all.

Ingwe merely laughed at the woman, for one who didn't give a damn she sure did get riled over it. "I have already stated feline, I care not what you do, take your kill, do as you wish. The only one getting worked up here is you. You don't care for me, nor I you, no one stated I wished to be your chum so save your idle threats they affect me not." He nodded to Cally, "We will leave, when she is ready and not until."
Arcamenel, come, leave the beast to its devices. Arcamenel snorted at the woman and turned and troted over to where Cally stood lowering his muzzle to nuzzle her affectionatly still not wanting to leave her unprotected.

Alatariel handed a honey cake to Cally. "Perhaps this won't turn out as boring as I thought." She murmured. Cally accepted the cake and ripped it in half, sharing it with Arcamenel. "I'll be safe, Ala has never let any harm come to me." She told the unicorn softly, "although I thank you for your concern." Cally turned her attention to Alatariel. "Why must everything be a game to you?" She asked. "Because my dear, when you are as old as I am games are all you have left." Alatariel smiled. "Tell me Cousin" she started, attempting to be polite to Ingwe, "Why is it you can't trust the Voskon's word? She hasn't done anything to harm you, only what is in her nature."

Ingwe turned to the newcomer when she addressed him doing his best to keep a civil tongue, "I'm sorry Ala, she called you? Well forgive me but the last time my people trusted the words of another race we were ran out of town like common rats and threatened with our very lives. I'm sorry if trust doesn't come so easy."
Arcamenel eagerly took the sweet from Cally's hand nickering at her in delight. When Ingwe had spoken he made his way over and butted him with his head hard enough to send the elf staggering. Do you not see your words mean nothing to this animal? She is what she is, her reason for being here is her own. She hasn't harmed the gentle one nor you and if she was any threat she would have tried so by now. He stomped his hind foot in displeasure still at the cat. She would have failed but she would have made an effort none the less. Stop this useless banter with her and let her be on her way. You two legged creatures always make things so complicated. We animals are what we are, there is nothing "hiding under the surface" as you two leggeds tend to think. Just take her for what she is. She is a beast who needed a feast, ignore her current shape and see her for what she is. Now leave her! Arcamenel snorted once more at Ingwe and made his way back to Cally, while he didn't care for this newcomer just yet she seemed to be allowed there by the gentle one so he was satisfied to let her presence go without a thought. He instead went and nuzzled her again hoping she had another sweet hidden somewhere.
Ingwe walked back over to Cally, he looked at the woman but figured it best to just ignore her at this point but turned to Cally and Ala, "I'm sorry but I know Cally was unarmed and only wanted to make sure of her safety , seeing as how I brought her here that was the highest priority I have for the time being."

Caída watched the events that unfolded before her. Not much did take place and not many words where spoken, but she didn’t want to interfere. Had there not still been a tension in the air she would have shifted her human skin again for her leopard one and feasted upon her kill. But she had a feeling that it was safer to wait until things had settled down, for who knew what the foolish elf would do if she surprised him again. She raised a hand to her face with her gaze still fixed on the quartet; a slender finger whipped away a drop of blood next to her mouth. Without thinking about t she sucked the blood from her finger while her attention was focused elsewhere…

Alatariel smirked. "Ala is what Cally calls me. All others are to use my full name. Alatariel." She said, allowing a pause to see his reaction. Even among the Norsla the name was uncommon, although the Norsla enjoyed bestowing a name upon their children that would improve their dark reputation, few had been given the name of darkness itself. "Besides, no race has had it harder then the Voskon. They were hunted to the brink of extinction, so you have no grounds to stand upon. The Humans did not break their word and try to destroy you like they did my people. They just decided they didn't like you and blamed a crime on you." She added with a chuckle. Cally stared at Alatariel, trying to remember what it was that her race had blamed the elves for.

Ingwe regarded this Alatariel, she was clearly enjoying herself. He was frustrated at the way these women were acting. He knew when he spoke next he needed to hold himself in a calmer manner, the more aggravated he got he more they seemed to find him amusing. He sighed and looked at Alatariel, "Look, the minute my bow lowered my threat to her left. Just because my bow goes down doesn't mean my guard does. You expect me to just accept her for what she is, fine, but I will not lower my guard just because of the words she says. She is voskon, but she appears to be more animal than anything, and thus I assume thinks as one. That is fine, but I won't let my guard down while I have Cally here, I will not turn blindly and leave her unguarded and unarmed to whatever any creature decides to do to her. I care too much to leave her to be harmed. She seems to know you and apparently you care for her in some form to allow her to call you Ala when all others are to use your full name. If you had just stayed on your perch in those trees and i had turned my back based on that creature's words and by some twist of fate the creature had decided to harm her for pure sport I would fully expect to be fastened to some tree with an arrow in my heart for failing her. I don't ask you to like it, I don't ask you to accept it, hell I don't even know what about this causes you so much amusement, but this is what I am. Arcamenel, tula sinome lle wethrinaer."
Arcamenel turned and walked back over nudging and nuzzling Ingwe affectionately, for all the idiosyncrasies this elf had they were still devoted companions.

Alatariel regarded Ingwe for a moment before laughing. When she findally got her laughter under control she looked at him and smiled. "How can I not be amused? You elves are all so serious, nothing at all like you once were. I thought all the elves who didn't trust everyone left and joined with the Norsla?" She commented. "I have seen many an elf treat a wild animal with more respect then you have shown this Voskon." Ala turned her attention to Caída and smiled, refusing to voice her thoughts because of a promise to Cally.

Andowen sat in the forked branches of a tree as she took in her sarroundings. She needed to hunt today, it had been 3 days since her last hunt. She whistled gently and waited for a moment. A few minutes later her friend Sayu appeared from behind a bush. Andowen lept down from the tree to greet him. "Hello my dear friend, how was your travels?" She asked him. "Dismal, there is no water here at all, we will have to go further to the thiner part of the forrest, I'm afraid the water must have collected there." Andowen sighed, it was as she feared. "Never mind dear, there is more grassland there also, I will be able to hunt. I'm sorry to say, but your idea of a meal just doesnt really work for me." Andowen grined at Sayu. He tossed his head and snorted. "Have it your way then." And with that he trotted off into the forrest. "Sayu! I was joking. Sayu i love grass and berries!... And other such discusting things" She added in an undertone. Andowen took one last look around her and put her hood over her head. After she was satisfied she took off after the unicorn. After pacing for a while she finally caught up with Sayu "You do know i was joking right?" She asked him "Of course, i just thought you could do with the run, after all, I have been carrying you since..." Sayu stopped and smelled the air, he turned his head this way and that with his ears pricked. As soon as he had stopped talking, Andowen had lepted into the closest tree. "What is it? What can you smell? She asked him as she looked around. As she climb a little higher, a slight breeze pushed through the branches, and with it a smell of blood. "Its just a dead animal, smells a little fresh, I might have some use for it." Andowen told Sayu "And how do you suppose an animal winded up dead here, there are no preditors in this part of the forrest. Caution is needed here." The tone of his voice worried Andowen. "Wait here, I will be quieter in the trees than you on the ground. If I dont return by nightfall, well then, you will have to think of something." Without waiting for his reply, Andowen turned and crept along the branches towards where the smell was coming from. (sorry for just sort of coming in here, but i didnt know where else to make my intro )

Caída was quickly loosing interest in the squabbling of the human and elves and what not. She had fed, yes, but that feeding had only given her energy enough to change and to not feel drained. And as the animal bleed out on the emerald green grass behind her she was more then just a little aware of the heavy metallic tang of blood. After a few more moments she gave it up. What was the point of standing here hearing these all too human creature dwell on subjects that didn’t even concern her? Wirth a graceful shrug she turned around, her black curls swirling around her nude body as she moved. She took as step and before the foot landed upon the ground there were four paws touching the grass instead. The change had been quick by human means, but for Caída it had taken what felt like an eternity of agony. She knew she would be in trouble for all this shifting in a near future or at least the voice of the human mind whispered it to her repeatedly in her mind. But she didn’t feel whole in her human guise. She felt lost and broken, as if a huge chunk of her was missing. Golden green eyes glanced back over her shoulder as she walked over to her fallen prey to feed. The other hadn’t even noticed that she was no longer paying them any attention.
She fed. Savouring the energy the raw meat and blood would give her as well as the taste. She would never understand the humans or so many of her own kind that preferred their meat cooked. A soft breeze touched the air in the glade and she knew that there was company not all too far of. Her sense was far better then even the mystical beasts was and hers was honed for hunting. A low growled trickled through her feline throat as her eyes fixed upon the direction the scent had come from. The black spotted golden hide was tensed over pure muscles as she waited; she was no longer in the mood to be chatty. The leopard wanted to feed and the new present made her tensed and on guard, she kept staring at the spot where the animal logic told her they where and the blood from the buckling coloured her features a gruesome red and maroon and stained her even more. The predator was ready for whatever would appear. Friend or foe or neither…
(OOC: Not my best post. But meh. I felt I needed to post at least… And you are welcome to post here Andowen, nice to see a new face by the way and welcome.)

Alouette walked up behind Alatariel and snuffled her shoulder.
Anarane smiled at everyone. "Helloo!" she chirped. "I seem to have lost something..." she nodded in the direction of Alatariel. "Turn my back for half a second... POOF!" Ana looked around, carefully examining everyone who was here. She blushed slightly, feeling a little bit awkward. Ana bit her lip.
"You're silly." Alouette said.
Anarane snorted. "Not silly.. Just... lonely."
